North Texas Trials Association

presents

What: Ryan Young Trials School
Where: Rock Creek Riding Area – Tishomingo
When: December 2 & 3, 2006

NTTA’s December club event will be a trials school hosted by none other than six-time National Champion Ryan Young! The location will be the Rock Creek riding area in Tishomingo.

According to the NTTA organizer, Mark Cope, all area riders are welcome to attend! In an effort to accommodate all and achieve maximum benefit for riders, the event will be split into a “Basics” class on Saturday and an ADVANCED class on Sunday aimed at the INT, Sr. EXP and EXP riders. Do not think you are going to ride in a class on Saturday AND Sunday… pick one and go for it. If you insist on taking the Basics class on Saturday AND the Advanced class on Sunday (not recommended because of limited spaces), the cost is $80 per day or $160.

Each day’s class is encouraged to observe and assist the other so that nothing is missed! There will be a limit of 12 riders per class (24 total). Ryan likes to be able to spend quality time with the students, hence the limit on the class size. This will sell out VERY QUICKLY, so call Mark to reserve your spot TODAY – do it NOW, before you do anything else.

Mark says, “We are also planning a Saturday evening informal dinner with Ryan (optional/Dutch) AND there will be a short Trial late Sunday after the school to try out your new skills (also optional/$10.00 entry fee for participants, $15.00 others) so we can thoroughly wear Ryan out before we send him home!”

The cost for the weekend will be $80.00+ options per rider if BOTH classes fill as expected. This includes land use fees!

All entries will be reserved on a first call basis and payments will be expected in Mark’s sweaty hands by the end of October. If he doesn’t have your money by then, the spots will be made available to those on Mark’s “stand-by” list.

Contact Mark Cope, just click here: mailto:copemech@verizon.net or call at 469-233-7112(cell) to reserve your spot NOW! Look forward to a
great time, learning a new skill or two, and getting to hang with a legend in our sport – I can’t think of a better way to spend a weekend!

UPDATE: THE RYAN YOUNG SCHOOL AT TISH!
The classes are basically full, although it seems that there may be a couple of last minute changes as expected. $80.00 for the weekend! Includes both days! One day you ride and receive personal instruction from Ryan, the other day you watch, learn, participate and some may want to practice on their own. Please be considerate of each other when it comes time to ride and try not to be practicing (making noise) while Ryan is lecturing, which he does a lot of!
