Cluck and Chark happily bring you the 2nd annual Tish Turkey Trial (T3). Some sections are completely new, some you have come to know and love, but you’ll be seeing them from a whole new angle! We especially want to mention that this year’s afternoon sections are WAAAAYYYYYY easier than last year… heck, even Big Chuck cleaned a couple of ‘em and he wasn’t even bleeding… much. We’ll have a few new t-shirts for sale commemorating the event, and, as always, all of your friends will be there cussing and discussing Cluck and Chark’s sections. We’ll have plenty of cool, crisp air imported from Kansas, and soft, tacky loam from the Arbuckle Mountains mixed with generous helpings of those beautiful decomposed granite boulders, all just waiting for you! So don’t miss it, turkey!
Directions: From the DFW area, get yourself to Whitesboro, TX from either I-35 (through Gainesville), or Hwy 75 (through Sherman). Take Hwy. 377 north, across Lake Texoma, through Madill, OK (Hwy. 377, State 99) and into the southern outskirts of Tishomingo, OK. Watch for state road 22 veering off to the left (west)… the state trooper should be having breakfast at the diner on the left… go west about 1.5 miles and look on the right for a rock wall that says “Lake Estates”. Turn north on Lake Estates Rd., left at the dumpsters. Follow the ribbons about 2.3 miles down the gravel road, the parking is on the right at a private residence.

North on US Hwy. 75 (Set your trip odometer to zero as you cross Hwy. 380 in McKinney)
Approx. time to riding area from Hwy 380 crossing is approx 1.5 hrs w/o any stops
On the north side of Durant, OK at around 63 miles watch for the exit “North via Hwy. 48 / Hwy. 78 – Durant” Do not take the “Washington Ave.” exit.
Exit at “North via Hwy. 48 / 78 – Durant” and go back under the highway (left/west)

At about 2.5 miles make a left onto North 78 toward Madill, OK

At 7 miles DO NOT TURN LEFT on 199 to Madill – keep going straight
In the town of Nida, the road splits into Hwy. 22 west (goes straight) and Hwy. 78 (veers right). NOTE: either route works, they split in Nida and come back together just outside of Tishomingo. I like to go straight on Hwy. 22 – watch for deer, and watch for two sharp right-hand turns.
Go through the town of Tishomingo and veer right onto Hwy. 22 west toward Ardmore

Cross “Rock Creek” start slowing down and looking right.
At 1.7 miles turn right between the rock entry signs that say, “Lake Estates” onto E. Lake Estates Road. Road turns to the right.
Turn left onto the dirt road “Rock Creek Rd.” at the Dead End sign and the trash bins
Reset trip odometer at the start of the dirt road
Veer left at the “Y” mileage reading approx 1.3 miles
At mileage 2.3 the property will be on the right – look for signs
NOTE: There will be no parking or camping on the lawn this time. There is a new parking / camping area just north of the old camping area / lawn: Big Chuck’s Flaming Acres.
